PMG-certified Note with Highest Grade Among Rarities in Crown Currency Sale

Over 350 world banknotes certified by Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) are part of a Crown Currency sale ending January 25, 2023. Bidding is already underway for Auction 14, which is primarily focused on rarities from the Netherlands and its former colonies.

One of the auction's highlights is a Netherlands Antilles / Dutch Administration 1986 5 Gulden graded PMG 70★ Gem Uncirculated EPQ (lot 395). It is the only one of its catalog number to earn the highest grade on the PMG Grading Scale. It is also among the 17 Netherlands Antilles notes (from nearly 3,000 certified by PMG) to earn this grade. In addition, it is one of over 50 notes in the sale that are "Top Pops," meaning they are unsurpassed in the PMG Population Report for their catalog number.
